2nd May 2025

Lynton Lasers Best Aesthetics Training

Developed in partnership with VTCT and The University of Manchester, we offer an excellent opportunity for both aspiring and experienced practitioners to earn a Core of Knowledge certificate issued by an Institute of Higher Education as well as an OFQUAL regulated Level 4 qualification from VTCT.

Join our 1.5 day virtual classroom led by Dr. Sam Hills, Clinical Director at Lynton Lasers, and Professor Mark Dickinson, from the University of Manchester, to delve into the science of laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).

This will be made up of a 1-day virtual classroom course to cover the Core of Knowledge content, as well as a half day exam revision session. There will then be an multiple choice exam to attain the Level 4 qualification.

Lynton’s Core of Knowledge course is approved by the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA).

Who Should Attend?

Our 1 day Core of Knowledge course is sufficient for insurance requirements, so we strongly recommend this course for individuals seeking insurance coverage for laser and IPL systems and those interested in staying informed about laser safety and the latest advancements in laser technology, protocols, and regulations.

However, if you would like a formal, recognised qualification and would like to progress on to more advanced qualifications (such as the Level 4 Qualification in Laser and Light Therapies and the Level 5 Qualification in Tattoo Removal), this Level 4 Core of Knowledge Qualification is ideal.

Our courses are designed to cater to participants from diverse backgrounds – whether you are exploring Laser and IPL as a potential addition to your business, or an experienced practitioner aiming to enhance your skills and knowledge, the Core of Knowledge qualification is for you.

Attended Core of Knowledge here last month to learn about lasers and intense light sources. Excellent course with great attention to details and safety. The physics theory was very interesting and the rationale for choosing specific wavelengths and energies for various treatments in different skin types was well explained. I contacted Lynton Lasers again today for advice on hair removal treatment in dark skins (FP V and VI), latest “pain -free “systems and the physics of it all! The physicist who came to my rescue was Jon Exley who answered my questions and really improved my understanding. I find Lynton Lasers to be very helpful and thorough in their approach and extremely supportive. Thank you!
