Combine Radiofrequency and Microneedling (RFM) Together

Radiofrequency (RF) induces thermal trauma to stimulate neocollagenesis in deep layers of the skin, creating stronger, firmer skin to help with concerns such as wrinkles and laxity.

Combine Radiofrequency & Microneedling (RFM) together and you have a dual effect on the tissue for a whole host of textural and ageing concerns such as acne scars, skin laxity, stretch marks, open pores, and wrinkles.

Focus Dual vacuum suction technology

Unique Vacuum Suction Technology

The Focus Dual uses vacuum technology to stabilise the microneedles for safer and more precise treatments, especially useful around the delicate eye area.

Safety Assist Transducers (SAT)

Safety Assist Transducers (SAT), unique to the Focus Dual, emit high intensity ultrasound waves in a unique pattern that avoids unwanted overlap in the surface tissues. This reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and discomfort for all.

HIFU Reaches Temperatures that Optimise Neocollagenesis

With the Focus Dual, the High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound (HIFU) constantly reaches temperatures of 60-70 degrees initiating optimal neocollagenesis.

Body Contouring with HIFU

With the optional 13mm cartridge, HIFU energy penetrates through the skins’ layers and into the subcutaneous tissue without harming the skin or surrounding tissue, at a depth that can target and break down adipose cells.

The high frequency of the ultrasound wave results in heating up to 65© to destroy fat cells and tighten skin. The damaged cells are then flushed from the body through natural detoxification processes.

Treatment options:

  • Decolletage
  • Axillary puff
  • Stretch marks and scars

Ultra-Fine Microneedles for Enhanced Safety and Comfort

Focus Dual uses superfine microneedles (only 0.16mm in diameter) creating a safer treatment with less bleeding and discomfort versus other devices. The benefits include:

  • 10 or 25 pin microneedle tips for large and small areas
  • Fractional spacing means no energy overlap
  • 5mm to 3.5mm microneedle depth options
  • Needle depth is easily adjusted on the touchscreen to suit different skin concerns

Non-Insulated Needles

Non-insulated microneedles are active along the entire length and cause high volumetric heating, offering enhanced results, reduced infection, faster healing, and safer treatments.

Treatments with non-insulated needles carry advantages for shorter procedure time, less trauma, and less downtime.

How long does it take to see results from Microneedling?

Some clients feel a difference in the elasticity of their skin in as little as 24 hours. However, the long-lasting results will be seen between 4-6 weeks post-treatment as this is the time frame in which it takes the body to produce new healthy collagen and elastin.

Can Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) be used on all patients of all ages?

Patients with laxity concerns can benefit from the dual effect of the Microneedling with Radiofrequency. As the Focus Dual offers many different needle depths and intensity settings for the RF, treatments can be easily customised to every different skin.

Younger skins who do not yet require lifting and tightening can benefit from Microneedling without the RF to focus on refining pores, evening out texture, and improving overall quality.

How does a HIFU facial treatment work?

This non-surgical facelift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin, which is the area surgeons tighten for face and neck lifts. Rather than surgery, the Focus Dual harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.

How does Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) compare to Injectables such as HA Fillers?

Radiofrequency Microneedle (RFM) is a great treatment to combine with Injectables to give your clients all-over fantastic skin quality.

Following an RFM treatment, your clients’ skin will gradually smooth out, improve in quality, and tighten. Fresh new collagen and elastin is producedadding nothing artificial.

Patients love how natural their skin looks as the results get better and better over time.

How does Radiofrequency Microneedling work?

Ultrafine needles penetrate the skin at different depths and release radiofrequency energy to heat the skin in a controlled manner, stimulating a wound healing response leading to the production of collagen and elastin

How many HIFU sessions are needed?

Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks and typically between 1 and 3 treatments are recommended for best results. Top-up sessions are performed as required, but usually only once or twice a year.

Is there any downtime with a Focus Dual HIFU treatment?

Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments, there is virtually no downtime. You may experience slight redness following the treatment, and a small percentage of our clients do experience minor swelling, tingling, or tenderness.

These symptoms are mild and temporary. Your clients will be able to return to their normal activities straight away, and there are no special recovery measures needed. This is why HIFU has earned the name “lunchtime facelift”.

What are the benefits of combining RF with Microneedling?

Practitioners have observed much quicker treatment results combining both RF and Microneedling compared to one technology alone depending on the device used. In cases such as severe acne results can be achieved in half the time versus standalone technologies, increasing patient satisfaction dramatically

When will you see results following a Focus Dual treatment?

Results can be seen immediately, and the results get better and better up to 12 weeks post-treatment as your clients’ collagen is renewed.

We expect results to last 1-2 years however, this can be dependent on lifestyle and maintenance.
