Focus Dual Microneedle Radiofrequency Treatment on Woman's Face

EPN Pen is the world’s first Electroporation Microneedling Pen. Designed to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibres and also maximise the benefits of active ingredients applied to the skin through increased absorption of topical products used during treatment. Electroporation can be used alone or in combination with skin Microneedling which expands the range of products that can be delivered transdermally. This revolutionary pairing of technology means that clients' results are maximised as serums with high molecular weight are induced into deeper dermal layers.

FOCUS DUAL is a next-generation professional Radiofrequency Microneedling machine offering a new treatment for achieving non-surgical skin tightening, lifting, firming, and body contouring. FOCUS DUAL uses a combination of Radiofrequency and Microneedling technology to create a controlled trauma that boosts the production of collagen and elastin. The results are firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted, and hydrated skin. With this machine you can deliver two treatments in one, and offer more effective results than offering Microneedling and Radiofrequency treatments individually.

FAQs

Is microneedling effective for hair loss?

Microneedling is known for its benefits to the skin and skin cell regeneration and the treatment is becoming increasingly popular for hair loss. Research has shown that Microneedling on the scalp helps stimulate stem cells within the hair follicles which can lead to hair growth (1).  Read More about Microneedling for Hair Loss.

What is the difference between insulated and non-insulated needles?

Insulated microneedles have a layer of insulation around them, allowing heat to only be emitted from the tip. Heating only the lower layers of the skin, protecting the epidermis. These needles allow cheaper treatments and also for safer treatment in individuals with darker skin types (4-6 on the Fitzpatrick scale), who are at higher risk of hyperpigmentation following treatment.

Non-insulated microneedles are active along the entire length and cause high volumetric heating, offering enhanced results, reduced infection, faster healing, and safer treatments. Treatments with non-insulated needles carry the advantages for shorter procedure time, less trauma, and less downtime

With Focus Dual® you now have the ability to customise the needle to the patient’s skin type and concern. See here for insulated vs non-insulated micro-needling treatment to further your understanding

How long does it take to see results from Microneedling?

Some clients feel a difference in the elasticity of their skin in as little as 24 hours. However, the long-lasting results will be seen between 4-6 weeks post-treatment as this is the time frame in which it takes the body to produce new healthy collagen and elastin.

Can Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) be used on all patients of all ages?

Patients with laxity concerns can benefit from the dual effect of the Microneedling with Radiofrequency. As the Focus Dual offers many different needle depths and intensity settings for the RF, treatments can be easily customised to every different skin.

Younger skins who do not yet require lifting and tightening can benefit from Microneedling without the RF to focus on refining pores, evening out texture, and improving overall quality.

How does a HIFU facial treatment work?

This non-surgical facelift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin, which is the area surgeons tighten for face and neck lifts. Rather than surgery, the Focus Dual harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.

How does Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) compare to Injectables such as HA Fillers?

Radiofrequency Microneedle (RFM) is a great treatment to combine with Injectables to give your clients all-over fantastic skin quality.

Following an RFM treatment, your clients’ skin will gradually smooth out, improve in quality, and tighten. Fresh new collagen and elastin is producedadding nothing artificial.

Patients love how natural their skin looks as the results get better and better over time.

How does Radiofrequency Microneedling work?

Ultrafine needles penetrate the skin at different depths and release radiofrequency energy to heat the skin in a controlled manner, stimulating a wound healing response leading to the production of collagen and elastin

How many HIFU sessions are needed?

Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks and typically between 1 and 3 treatments are recommended for best results. Top-up sessions are performed as required, but usually only once or twice a year.

Is there any downtime with a Focus Dual HIFU treatment?

Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments, there is little to no downtime. You may experience red skin following the treatment, and a small percentage of clients do experience minor swelling symptoms.

These symptoms are mild and temporary. Your clients will be able to return to their normal activities straight away, and there are no special recovery measures needed. This is why HIFU has earned the name “lunchtime facelift”.

What are the benefits of combining RF with Microneedling?

Practitioners have observed much quicker treatment results combining both RF and Microneedling compared to one technology alone depending on the device used. In cases such as severe acne results can be achieved in half the time versus standalone technologies, increasing patient satisfaction dramatically

When will you see results following a Focus Dual treatment?

Results can be seen immediately, and the results get better and better up to 12 weeks post-treatment as your clients’ collagen is renewed.

We expect results to last 1-2 years however, this can be dependent on lifestyle and maintenance.
