Laser and Skin Fundamentals

14 / 10 / 2025 to 16 / 10 / 2025

About This Course

The Laser & Skin Fundamentals course, delivered in collaboration with The University of Manchester, is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to deliver safe and effective treatments using a range of laser and IPL technologies.

You’ll cover the science behind aesthetic devices, how light-based treatments work, and how to safely assess and plan treatments for your patients. By the end of the course, you’ll clearly understand what’s possible (and what’s not) when it comes to skin rejuvenation, vascular and pigmented lesions, hair removal and acne.

This training combines hands-on experience with academic insight, helping you build a strong, science-led foundation from day one.

You will get to use a wide variety of technologies including:

  • IPL

  • Alexandrite Laser (755nm)

  • Nd:YAG Laser (1064nm)

  • Q-switched Nd:YAG Laser (1064nm and 532nm)
