CO2 Fractional Laser Treatments You Can Trust

20th July 2022

SmartXide Punto CO2 Skin Resurfacing Laser

As we all know, for quite some time, CO2 fractional laser resurfacing treatments have been the gold standard for those looking to restore their skin. This has, however, come hand in hand with long periods of downtime. Luckily, thanks to the creation of SmartXide by our partner, DEKA, this is no longer a concern.

SmartXide features CoolPeel™, CO2 but cooler! It truly makes this innovation stand out from the crowd. Paired with the fact that this device delivers exactly what patients have been asking of aesthetic medicine for the last twenty years – optimal results with as little downtime as possible, it’s no surprise to us why it has become so popular.

If you find yourself wanting to know more about this CO2 fractional laser, we invite you to keep reading.

Advances in CO2 Fractional Laser Devices

As time passes, change and technological advances are inevitable. They’re something that many try to fight, but the passing of time and the invention of new technologies has made the aesthetic medicine industry what it is today. One particular innovation that DEKA has used to their advantage is randomised scanning, which minimises overlapping. This holds several benefits for patients, the most notable of these is a significant reduction in post-treatment side effects and downtime.

Such advantages are possible thanks to CoolPeel™, as it allows practitioners to offer safer, more flexible treatment options for all of their patients. DEKA have also included their unique H-pulse. Featuring a high peak power, with a short pulse, it delivers a fully ablative treatment without thermal damage.

However, CoolPeel™, is not the only pioneering piece of equipment DEKA has created. This particular CO2 fractional laser device also utilises PSD® technology. PSD® (pulse shape design) Technology offers another way in which treatment can be customised, as it offers variable pulse shapes as a means to tailor each client’s request to their needs and to deliver the impressive results they desire.

Why Did CO2 Fractional Laser Treatments Need To Change?

This might be a question that you have asked yourself but patients and practitioners alike knew why, which is one of the reasons the experts at DEKA created SmartXide. The many components that we have outlined here have made this machine so successful, simply because it has filled a vital gap in the market. As well as this, DEKA has a keen understanding of what is expected by patients in the twenty-first century. Lengthy downtime and good but not great results aren’t enough to impress savvy patients, this is the very reason why DEKA created this cutting-edge aesthetic technology solution. CO2 lasers were previously effective but outdated and clients were becoming increasingly disillusioned with their results, but this is no longer the case.

Another key selling point of this CO2 fractional laser is the versatility SmartXide could bring to your practice. It is the perfect way to target several signs of ageing – it can improve skin texture, tighten lax skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve both acne and traumatic scarring. Most patients notice a difference after their first session but they are likely to benefit most from a bespoke treatment plan. When it comes to deciding what is best for patients, it is important to remember that SmartXide Punto can perform minor surgical procedures and SmartXide Touch is capable of more advanced procedures, such as gynaecological treatments and hair restoration.

Expansion of Premises to Facilitate Entry into Export Markets

To facilitate its entry into new export markets, Lynton Lasers Ltd required increased manufacturing space, as well as new demonstration and training facilities. To this end, LEADER Funding was applied for, and won, to support the refurbishment of an adjacent business unit (Unit 9d) as well as the re-arrangement and refurbishment of the existing business unit (Unit 6) on Holmes Chapel Business Park.
