Last night, a glam crowd descended on Mayfair for a marvellous, Moët-fuelled celebration of legendary fashion photographer Gavin Bond. A private view of the recently opened Being There exhibition at Hamiltons Gallery was followed by a suitably fabulous party at Claridge’s ArtSpace, where guests explored large-scale vinyls of 90s supermodels, displays of scrapbooks, show invitations and behind-the-scenes video footage from the era. With DJ Fat Tony on the decks and Mini Moëts topped with golden funnels, the scene was a fitting tribute to Bond’s work, as well as the icons he captured on film—from Carla and Claudia to Naomi and Kate.
