What is the downtime for skin resurfacing?

Downtime is dependent on the chosen treatment, the SmartXide CO2 can perform superficial (CoolPeel) and ablative skin resurfacing.

With a moderate-to-severe treatment setting, patients can expect to have swelling and redness for four days, with sunburn-like redness by day five.

Following a CoolPeel treatment, it is common for patients to experience some minor redness similar to a sunburn, but this redness should not interfere with routine activities. Patients are encouraged to wear SPF 50 after the treatment. As the skin recovers, hydration is important, the skin can feel dry as your skin works to shed its dead skin cells and collagen production is increased, however, you will begin to see brighter and healthier skin within a week or two following treatment.

With the SmartXide the amount of downtime needed after CO2 laser resurfacing can be completely customised based on your patient’s unique needs.

Expansion of Premises to Facilitate Entry into Export Markets

To facilitate its entry into new export markets, Lynton Lasers Ltd required increased manufacturing space, as well as new demonstration and training facilities. To this end, LEADER Funding was applied for, and won, to support the refurbishment of an adjacent business unit (Unit 9d) as well as the re-arrangement and refurbishment of the existing business unit (Unit 6) on Holmes Chapel Business Park.

This Project was part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development
