SmartXide Punto And Your Clinic – It’s A Match

14th March 2023

SmartXide Punto CO2 Skin Resurfacing Laser

The SmartXide Punto CO2 laser needs to be on the radar of every practitioner for a number of reasons. If you find yourself unfamiliar with this innovation, we invite you to read on as this device from our partner, DEKA, is one that’s taken the industry by storm in recent years.

With an impressive treatment range (including surgical applications), incredible results, minimal downtime and exciting technology, SmartXide Punto takes CO₂ laser treatments to a new level. Let’s delve into the world of SmartXide Punto and everything it could do for your patients.

SmartXide Punto In A Nutshell

SmartXide Punto is what happens when over 30 years of experience in aesthetic medicine and dermatology combine to create a CO2  laser with multiple treatment capabilities. This machine truly showcases the advancements this industry has seen in regard to such laser systems. Previously, CO2  laser treatment went hand in hand with long periods of downtime, but this is no longer the case with SmartXide Punto.

There can be no doubt that this device was designed with both practitioners and patients in mind. The effective results it produces extend from general skin rejuvenation procedures to minor surgery and it’s proven to be an incredible addition to our clients’ clinics. Here are just a few concerns that SmartXide Punto is able to treat:

  • Scarring (both acne and traumatic)
  • Fine lines and deep wrinkles
  • Surface pigmentation
  • Uneven texture
  • Droopy eyelids

What’s more, SmartXide Punto is even suitable for use on patients with darker skin on the Fitzpatrick scale who are notoriously at a higher risk of developing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). PIH is a much more common occurrence in those with medium-dark complexions due to a higher concentration of melanin in their skin, but how is this versatility possible?

What Makes SmartXide Punto So Different?

In short, CoolPeelTM and PSD® (pulse shape design) Technology are the two things that have cemented SmartXide’s success within the industry. The introduction of CoolPeelTM  has essentially enabled practitioners to target the uppermost layers of the skin, which is invaluable when performing skin rejuvenation treatments. It also means they can perform CO2 treatments and guarantee minimal downtime, meaning that patients don’t have to block out long periods of time to recover following their treatment.

PSD® Technology only furthers this machine’s versatility as it makes each and every treatment highly customisable thanks to multiple pulse shapes:

  • Smart Pulse
  • DEKA Pulse
  • H-Pulse
  • Standard CW mode

H-Pulse, in particular, is a favourite for many as it delivers large amounts of energy in very short pulses, which results in deeper ablation and never before seen results. This is all done without causing damage to the surrounding skin. This is minimised even further with ‘spray mode’, which involves a pseudo-random scanning pattern to ensure a more ‘natural’ treatment result and minimal overlap.

Several elements combine in SmartXide Punto to provide truly stunning results and you could help your clinic to stand out from the crowd when you introduce this revolutionary device to your practice.
